Parker PGI’s Hot-Shot Heated Enclosure System
Parker PGI’s Hot-Shot Heated Enclosure System will help prevent natural gas sampling distortion caused by condensation. This condition occurs when the temperature of the sampled gas drops below the hydrocarbon dew point of the flowing gas stream.
To avoid errors of 10% or more, the Heated Enclosure keeps the sample collected, as well as all sample system components, at least 30°F above the hydrocarbon dew point of the gas being sampled.
The compact, versatile and cost-effective Heated Enclosure eliminates this problem by enclosing and heating the entire sampling system.

Parker PGI’s Interceptor Series Gas Sampler
Parker PGI’s Interceptor Series Gas Sampler is a compact, easy to use, install, and service composite sampling system that delivers accurate, high quality gas samples each and every collection period. The Interceptor provides a more cost effective sampling method when compared to on-line gas chromatographs and is far more accurate and comprehensive than traditional spot sampling. The highly reliable Interceptor is compatible with all flow computers, and is CSA Approved and Intrinsically Safe for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D hazardous locations. In addition, it is offered with a wide variety of options including three specific pump styles with customizable features. All Interceptor materials conform to NACE (MR-01-75 latest revision).
The Interceptor consists of a positive displacement piston pump powered by a low pressure, gas operated, spring return piston actuator. Sampling is accomplished when a 3-way 6, 12, or 24 volt solenoid is energized allowing a downward pumping stroke of the piston actuator. This pump stroke captures a sample of the pipeline gas and stores it in the sample cylinder. The system can be set up to sample at a preset time interval (time based) or can be programmed to sample proportional to the flow rate of the process gas (flow based).
The Interceptor’s optional G6000 programmable controller allows for user controlled time-based or flow-based sampling. As a flow based sampler, the controller can take samples proportional to a flow rate provided by a flow meter or flow computer. The flow signal can be provided as 1 to 5 volts, 4-20 milliamps, or as a voltage pulse. Additional features include a configurable alarm output, ESD input for remote shut downs, three voltage trigger levels for pulse inputs and a programmable sample count limit.

Parker PGI’s NOVA Gas and Liquid Sampling Series
Parker PGI’s NOVA Gas and Liquid Sampling Series offers innovative sampling systems. The core of the NOVA sampling system is the highly reliable Z-500 Pump which features a multi-purpose internal balance valve that compensates for changing line pressures. To reduce maintenance issues, a strainer on the inlet acts as a particulate filter for the pump and the impreglon-coated piston eliminates the need for lubricated O-rings.
The NOVA features an optional user friendly electronic interface that has a variety of configurable power options including solar. It also accommodates a number of actuation sources and has many configurable hardware options.
In addition to direct mount and remote mount configurations, the NOVA can also be skid mounted. It is offered as a compact liquid skid with a 1.5, 3, 5 or 7 gallon reservoir which includes the accompanying back pressure tank(s). The epoxy painted fiberglass skid features permanently mounted controls and an efficient butter-churn style mixer.

Parker PGI’s Ultra-Seal Sample Cylinders
Parker PGI’s Ultra-Seal Sample Cylinders are designed for applications that require a constant pressure when the sample is extracted. The floating piston design of the Ultra-Seal Constant Pressure Cylinder allows the cylinder to be pre-charged with either the pipeline gas or a separate air/gas source. The pre-charge pressure is taken to slightly above the line pressure of the gas or liquid being sampled, and sampling against this pre-charge pressure will then result in no loss of pressure to the sample being taken. In applications where the product composition and state are extremely critical this sample collection method will help to achieve the most representative sample possible. The Ultra-Seal Constant Pressure Cylinders are available in gas or liquid configurations with a variety of options and features.
Parker PGI’s Sample Cylinder VP Valve Series
Parker PGI’s Sample Cylinder VP Valve Series are compact needle valves designed specifically for use with sample cylinders. These valves utilize o-ring stem seals or PTFE stem packing to insure a positive seal. The VP Series comes with a standard 5 year no leak warranty due to the patented Pressure –Core® stem seal technology.
Parker PGI’s Sample Probe Series
Parker PGI’s Sample Probe Series are offered in 12 standard models, with hundreds of customizable configurations available.
The Integral Sample Probes features PGI’s PTFE Pressure-Core® Stem Seal with 5 year warranty as standard. The Pressure-Core seal requires no bonnet adjustment and virtually eliminates leaks that would result in measurement drift and fugitive emissions.
Parker PGI’s Sample Cylinder Cases
Parker PGI’s Sample Cylinder cases are black ultra-high impact cases with dust-proof ABS latches and an O-ring seal. Cases are shipped with a customizable solid foam insert and have wheeled ends for ease of transport.
Sizes available are detailed below and will hold one (1) to three (3) cylinders dependent upon type and size.
Parker PGI’s Spun End Sample Cylinders
Parker PGI’s Spun End Sample Cylinders are available in 150 through 1000cc sizes with dozens of cylinder valve configurations, including an optional burst disc port.
The VP Series Cylinder Valves feature PGI’s PTFE Pressure-Core® Stem Seal with 5 year warranty as standard. The Pressure-Core seal requires no bonnet adjustment and virtually eliminates leaks that would result in measurement drift and fugitive emissions.
Cylinder heat code traceability and hydrostatic test certificates are available.
Parker Conflow's Code 12 Control Valves
Parker Conflow’s Code 12 control valve is a reliable and durable fire hydrant that reduces mains water pressure to allow safe use of protect fire hoses in underground mines and tunnelling sites.
The desired outlet pressure for any available inlet pressure is preset by bringing a locking dome into contact with a stop collar on the spindle. It features 2 1/2″ VIC or flange inlet.
The Parker Conflow Code 14PS pre-setting bend is used to test the hydrant to ensure a safe and constantly available supply of fire fighting water. A safety relief valve is built into the unit to ensure there is no pressure build-up if the outlet hose is blocked, for added protection.
